- Ergh, it's evil, simply refuses to start itself if I want to use 8n1.device.
-
- 1.30 works fine, however..

- Use IPDial Version 2.0 - I've been using IPDial since version
- 1.something-early, have tried some of the others, but they don't compare.
-
- Maybe SLIPCall's screwing around with one of your files?

-
- The Config/Installer scripts do that, from memory. Nothing else does.
-
- If you're that unsure, run SnoopDOS...

-
- Get rid of SLIPCall for a start. It's not that complicated to log in. Get a
- dialer that calls the modem pool, waits for your name prompt, enters you name
- and password, waits for the PPP negotiation to start and quits. Then you run
- StartNet....
